FS#155 - 100% load avg with squid
|
DetailsHello, I've used uzbl for the first time and started from ubuntu repository (20091130). I'm currently using transperent squid proxy with filter for ad-sites. On of key features of this setup is squid block unwanted sites with tcp reset. (deny_info TCP_RESET counters ...)
But by some reason uzbl-core tries to reach such sites with persistence. This is what I get in squid log when visiting www.uzbl.org: 1261123751.193 0 192.168.1.5 TCP_DENIED/403 0 GET http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js - NONE/- text/html In addition uzbl-browser complains: talk_to_socket: poll failed while waiting for input (Connection timed out) May be this is not relative to the problem, because uzbl-core is silent and only loads my cpu up to 100%. The only thing I want browser do is to show page with minimum computer resources. |
