So the page is First thing is that is validates with one warning, so it should display correctly:

When I visit the page I get the error:

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 2: StartTag: invalid element name
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

And when you look at the source in browser, line 2 contains nothing.

If I use wget to download the page, line 2 is the DTD, and it does successfully open in uzbl without css or anything.
If I connect to the page through privoxy, it doesn't display, but I tell privoxy to block the page, and set all blocked pages to redirect to my local copy of it (effectively redirecting the page to my local copy), it displays correctly with no errors.

So I can't tell what's going on at all, but it looks like there might be something wrong with uzbl.
This task depends upon

Yes, on both my main one (2010.11.25), and a non-installed recent download (-V gives me Commit: 518004933b6d110d2a6d140f86c759dd4e713607)

I can't reproduce this either. What version of webkitgtk do you have installed?

This is working for me with webkitgtk 2.3.90, GTK3, WebKit1, uzbl 'next'. Is it still broken for you (the uzbl 'next' branch is the bit I'm looking for mainly)?
